365 Project: August 4 - August 10

National Night Out was tonight. We had a nine year old painting faces and after Mady's was done, she decided to use her arm as a canvas to show off her creativity.

The beauty of something so tiny is always fun to capture.

My name is Amanda and I have a wonderfully crazy, full life. I have been with my love, Nate, for about six years now, and have been for married to him for almost three of those. We sure have been given more than our fair share of ups and downs but in the end, we have come out more united and even more in love [too mushy? I don't care.]. We made a beautiful, silly, loving, helpful, sassy little girl from scratch almost five years ago. Yes, you read that right, FIVE. Time really does fly when you're having fun. A little over two years ago now, we lost a baby [at 23 weeks gestation] due to severe health complications caused by Turner Syndrome. Since then, we've created a beautiful butterfly garden

My baby finished up her first all-day camp tonight. I couldn't have been more proud to see her awarded with the "Best Spirit Award" our of all the kids grades K-3. She is such a kind soul. Anyway, after the parent program was complete, they handed out these cool flashlight/lanterns and Mady could not have been happier with it. She decided that her and Dad had to read tonight's bedtime story via lantern light.

Found a ton of honeybees on my "butterfly weed"... Maybe it should be called "honeybee weed" instead?

Gave this little sweetie a fresh mani/pedi this morning; she was one happy girl.

The innocence of my sweet, sleeping beauty never gets old. I could stare at this face all day.

Is there anything prettier than a sunset on the lake? Is there??

Take a minute to keep our circle going and see what the amazing Jessica Mason did this week!
